Before
The slow way
Fifteen websites whose only way in was an email link. Leads arrived without the facts needed to answer them, and nobody could see where visitors gave up.
The idea
Where the path bends
Build the form once. A site points one subdomain at it, and the service knows from the address which site the visitor came from, then shows that site’s questions in that site’s colours.
What runs
Step by step
- A few questions, one at a time, written for what that site really offers.
- Then the contact details, then an answer that fits what the visitor said.
- The lead is stored and mailed to the right inbox.
- Every step is counted, so a drop-off shows up as a number, not a hunch.
- Wants
- A quote for 400 engraved bottle openers
- By when
- Before the company party on the 14th
- Budget
- Asked, answered: under 2,000
- Stopped at
- Nowhere. Every step answered.
Outcome
Live on fifteen hostnames. Leads arrive with what was asked, and the inbox shows where people stop.
Examples, made up to show the idea
The same run in your company
- A group of hotels
One booking enquiry flow for every property, each in its own brand, all landing in one desk.
- A franchise
Each branch site asks its own questions and routes the lead to the nearest branch.
