The slow way
An office number that rings while nobody can pick up. Missed calls become callbacks to strangers, and messages left on a voicemail are half a name and no number.
Where the path bends
Let an agent answer in the company’s name, but never let it guess at the one thing it gets wrong: phone numbers. A small tool reads numbers back digit by digit, and the model never spells them out itself.
Step by step
- The caller hears a short menu: stay on the line or press 1 for Dutch, 2 for English, 0 for something urgent.
- Urgent calls ring a mobile first. If nobody answers, the agent takes the message and marks it urgent.
- The agent asks who is calling, what it is about and how to call back, and reads the number back.
- Every call is written down and mailed. If the mail does not go out, it is retried until it does.

The same run in your company
- A roofing firm
Takes the 7 am calls from the scaffold, books the inspection slot and texts the roofer the address.
- A dental practice
Handles the lunch-hour rush: new patients get a callback time, emergencies go to the on-call phone.
